- 5 / 5By Andrew SmithAs far as diners go, the Lamp Post is a great one. It has all the hallmarks of a better, modern New Jersey diner. The coffee is fresh and of good quality. The interior is interesting to look at and somewhat over the top. There are fresh baked pastries, pies and cakes at the register. The menu is overwhelming and unique to the establishment. I have been there several times at different times of day and was not let down. I enjoy the selection and quality of their big salads and they passed the breakfast test.
